Jason Dunnington – Democrat for House District 88

Jason Dunnington is a professor at Oklahoma City University, a businessman, and a former pastor. As a father of two kids entering public elementary school, he believes Oklahoma’s education system could not be more important. Jason believes children are the future of Oklahoma, and we have a responsibility to give them the best opportunity to succeed.

Jason is very concerned about the current direction of education in Oklahoma. He believes the Oklahoma legislature must make it a priority to get quality teachers in every classroom. Additionally, Dunnington believes it’s imperative to evaluate current mandates and testing to ensure teachers and students aren’t overburdened. He supports high standards and rigorous academics but believes the Oklahoma legislature should provide the resources that those standards demand.

In his own words…

What are you top budget priorities for public schools in Oklahoma? “Teacher pay and retention support, funding for classrooms for better technology and resources. Career Tech and community college access.”

Will you vote for Jason Dunnington on June 24th?
