She has long been engaged in her local school – from the restructure of a school district’s report card to being a room mom, and from working on a school referendum to helping develop a teacher mentoring program. Mimi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Economics from the University of Chicago and her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
Before joining Stand, Mimi was a partner at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis and senior counsel at Tribune Company in their educational publishing division.
