Stand for Children Arizona hires CBS5 anchor Patrick McReynolds
Former news anchor to direct marketing, communications for education advocacy organization
PHOENIX (February 22) – Stand for Children Arizona today announced that Patrick McReynolds has joined its team as Marketing and Communications Director. McReynolds previously worked at KPHO/CBS5 as a morning anchor and chief journalist.
“Patrick’s 24-year career has focused on storytelling around the globe, and we’re excited to have him on the team,” Executive Director Rebcca Gau said. “His passion for education and children make him well-suited to our cause and commitment to Arizona's youth and educational opportunities.”
Prior to joining Stand for Children Arizona, he spent more than two decades as a broadcast journalist, tracking stories all over the country and around the world, notably from Iraq and New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. McReynolds' work has earned him three Emmys and an Edward R. Murrow award for reporting and anchoring.
